The book my daughter wrote

Mum book 1A parcel arrived this week. It was expected – Daughter had planned to give me a gift for Mothering Sunday as we were due to visit a few days later, but we didn’t make it because that was the week the  world went mad. She was going to wait until we got together but decided that it had been long enough – she’d post it. Inside the box were some edible treats, a promise of afternoon tea, and a book. This book. A book that had me crying in no time, and laughing too. I’m feeling touched, proud and very, very loved.

There were so many more pages filled with lovely comments and memories but here are a few of my favourites:

Mum book 2

Mum book 13

Mum book 10

Mum book 9

Mum book 8

Mum book 7
