Fathers’ Day

Dad & me

Bourton-on-the-Water model village 1959

My lovely dad died when I was 24. He never got to see my little boys  grow up and never even met my daughter or my brother’s son.  Happy Fathers’ day to all lovely daddies.

  1. I am a clairvoyant reader, Eloise, and one of the things that I found out doing this, is that we carry the love of those who are dear to us, family and friends, forever, in our hearts, no matter whether it’s this realm or ;the other;.You will be in his, too.

  2. Lovely photo of you and your father. My father died when I was 7. He never got to see me grow up! My step-father, who did get to see me grow up, died on June 16, so yesterday, which was Father’s Day, was his death anniversary.

    • Not a great day for you then, Bless. That’s so sad about your father. At least my dad dis see my brother and I grow up, and he knew he was grandfather to two small boys.
