What would you like to find at the end of your rainbow? Think hard before you ask for the proverbial pot of gold. Because, do you know what? Pots of gold mean nothing. Zilch.
Life recently threw us an almighty curve ball which has shaken us to the core. My 37 year old son almost died. Nothing, nothing, nothing matters more than the people we love.
A planned surgery went disastrously wrong but at the time we didn’t know. A second emergency surgery five days later saved his life. His wife spent many, many hours at his bedside, staying overnight in his hospital room at the worst time. I was there when I could be too but someone had to take care of the children. Then there was a serious infection to cope with, and another one after that, but today we had the news we have been waiting for – he could come home.
What I’d like to find at the end of my rainbow can be summed up in three short words which encompass the health and happiness of those whom I love – Peace of Mind.
So glad your darling son is now home, Eloise. What a devastating time you have all gone through. Much love to you and your family.
